I would like to introduce the current project by Kanazawa Biiki Project I introduced last time. I first met Mr. Agu through the tea ceremony with Ms Kyoko Okamoto as my cultural event - JAPAN FOCUS last June. This time I met Mr. Agu and the Italian couple, Mateo and Silvia in London. I was very impressed the unique idea of connecting Japan and the world through food culture, when I heard about his 'CASA Project'. I would like to support this project and I wish the very success in the process!!!

'CASA Italian Kaisei Kappo' is absolutely unique because it has an amazing fusion of authentic Italian food and Japanese style 懐石 (kaiseki) +会席 (kaiseki) and 割烹 (kappo).
-懐石 (kaiseki) means the meal which is served before tea ceremony.
Its spirit-wabi&sabi is expressed in the dish. Three important elements are 1 using the seasonal ingredients, 2 maximising the enjoyment of the flavour and texture of the ingredients and 3 serving with full of warmth-omotenashi.
-会席 (kaiseki) has the similar concept as course dishes in the UK. There are more than 9 courses and customers enjoy the moment with drinks, food and conversation in their own timing. The course dishes are normally decorated nicely with the feeling of the season.
-割烹 (kappo) is a high quality restaurant which serves kaiseki (会席)meals. Normally, customers can enjoy speaking to the chef and there is a very warm atmosphere.
