Matteo and Silvia opened their dream restaurant in Kanazawa, Japan in March 2018. I visited their Italian restaurant in order to celebrate when I went back to Japan. It is impressive that they made their dream came true in another country!

The food was beautiful Italian with a touch of Japanese elegance.  Counter seats are quite normal in Japanese restaurant but I had never seen counter seats in a Italian restaurant. Furthermore, it is made of marble! I really enjoyed the course dinner that Matteo cooked. The service by Silvia was very friendly and warm. It made me feel so happy to see their working together in this new restaurant.

​It is the beginning and not easy to run business especially in another country. I wish the further growth and the restaurant will keep attracting more and more customers!

マテオとシルビアは去年の3月、二人の夢のレストランを金沢にオープンしました。日本に帰国した際にお祝いにこのイタリア料理を訪ねました。異国の地で夢を実現するというのは本当に大変なことですが、それをやり遂げたことに感動しました。

いただいた料理は和食器や日本の食材との融合で繊細さが感じられました。日本ではカウンターの席はよく見かけますが、イタリア料理店では初めてですね。しかも大理石でできていて、うまくインテリアも折衷が施されていました。マテオの料理はとても味わい深く、シルビアのおもてなしは心温まるものでした。二人が仲睦まじく一緒に働いている姿もまた幸せな気持ちにしてくれました。

まだ始まったばかりのCASAレストラン。ビジネスを続けていくことは生易しいものではありませんが、これからも成長し続けより多くのお客様に愛させていくことを願っております。

Have you ever heard about 'black tea from Shizuoka', Japan? My brother gave me this tea which was grown on the neighbour mountain! As a child, I grew up with the environment of green tea everywhere. However, I have never heard about the black tea from my region. I was not sure about the quality of this black tea... However, it was absolutely delicious! The flavour and smell are gently sweet and I cannot believe the green tea farmers near our house have produced such high quality black tea! I am very impressed. It is a great discovery. Thank you so much my brother!

​兄からもらった静岡紅茶。しかも実家の周辺で栽培されたもの。静岡ではお茶畑がそこら中にあり、家の隣にもありますが、まさか紅茶も作り始めたとは。どんな味がするのか、あまり期待はしていませんでしたが、興味津々で飲んでみました。それが、さわやかな甘い香りが絶妙でとても感激しました。静岡紅茶、その存在自体も知らなかったんですが、侮れません。すごい発見でした。ごちそうさまでした。
