今年も残すところあとわずかとなりました。まずは忘年会の写真をご覧ください。手作りの日本のクリスマスケーキが大変好評で誠に嬉しく存じます。
皆様にはこの一年間大変お世話になり、誠にありがとうございました。
おかげさまで、「日本語を話す会」「英語を話す会」も毎月盛況となり、「JAPAN FOCUS」も初回から大変好評をいただきました。以上のイベントでの募金も４月には１０７ポンドを熊本へ、１０月には１３３ポンドを鳥取の地震災害へ寄付させていただきました。また、メンバーのニッコ・サルバトリさんは、「JAPAN FOCUS」で発表していただいた際のお礼金４５ポンドをご出身のイタリアの赤十字に地震災害復興のため寄付なさいました。
このように、今年はより充実した１年となりました。来年も皆様により深い異文化理解の機会の提供に努めてまいりますので、何卒、本年同様のご愛顧を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
人々との交流を通じ、今後ますます国際的な視野での感性や個々の世界観が広がり、より充実した日々を送っていただけることを心より願っております。
新年は、1月２１日に「日本語を話す会」「英語を話す会」を実施いたします。どうぞ良いお年をお迎えください。新年もよろしくお願いいたします。

Thank you very much for all your warm support this year.
First of all, I would like to share the photos of the End Year Party in 2016. Thank you very much for all the compliments for my handmade Japanese Christmas cake!
Thanks to all your support, there was a great achievement this year. Both 'Japanese Speaking Session' and 'English speaking Session' went very well attended by the members from the diverse backgrounds. The first 'JAPAN FOCUS' was extremely popular and many of the members are looking forward to the next one coming. I hope these intercultural events provided you further understanding of Japan and Japanese perceptions directly from the natives.
Also, the first donation for the natural disasters in Japan was made from this year; £107 for Kumamoto in April and £133 for Tottori in October. Thank you very much for all your kind support for Arai Academy of Japanese Studies. In addition, Niccolò Salvatori who presented on 'JAPAN FOCUS' kindly donated £45 of the contribution to his country, Italy, due to the serious disaster by the earthquake.
I would like to continue providing high standard of inter-cultural platforms for all who are interested in understanding different cultures, view points and ways of thinking in deep level. I hope this will enrich your life!
The next 'Japanese Speaking Session' and 'English Speaking Session' will be held on 21st of January 2017.
I hope you have a wonderful festive time with your loved ones. May all have a peaceful time and have a good start of the new year.
