The topic of the month is working culture in Japan. However, please enjoy any topics with native speakers if you wish. I hope this will provide a cross-cultural learning platform for you to exchange information, opinions and help your deeper understanding of different cultures with native Japanese speakers. Please attend the session(s) that you are interested in.
Date: 21st of May 2016 (the 3rd Saturday every month) Time: Japanese Speaking Session 10:00 am – 10:55 am (Break 10:55 am – 11:05 am) English Speaking Session 11:05 am – 12:00 pm Venue: Waterloo *We might stay in the garden outside of the venue if the weather permits. Free of charge Please remember you can help with organising and support the continuity of these events with your contributions – the contribution box will be on the table during the event. Your contribution is used to show courtesy (e.g. to purchase Japanese snacks) to the native speakers who kindly attend to talk with you. In the case of surplus, I would like to donate to the Japanese government organisation which helps people who suffer from the natural disasters in Japan. In addition, if you would like to invite your friends who are interested in the sessions, please feel free to welcome them. In this case, I appreciate if you could give me their names and e-mail addresses in advance. I would like to contact them directly. I look forward to seeing you on 21st of May. Warm wishes, Mineko Arai Managing Director Arai Academy of Japanese Studies |
