Origin — Why this programme exists

For over 20 years, I have been supporting learners who felt they “couldn’t communicate with Japanese people”. My own journey began at 17, when I first dreamed of connecting with the world — and later struggled deeply with English communication. This experience shaped my belief that communication begins from the heart, not from perfect language.

Executive Japanese Communication was created to support busy global professionals who work with Japan, so they can communicate with calm confidence and build trust in a gentle, human‑centred way. I truly appreciate the work you do with Japan, and my mission is to support your success.

A gentle structure: five lessons

Start with five gentle lessons (ÂŁ35). You will receive your certificate of completion after finishing the five lessons.

Additional mini courses will be released gradually, so you can continue learning at your own pace.

This structure is ideal for busy professionals who prefer quiet, steady learning.

What you will gain

  • A clear understanding of the Japanese “heart logic”
  • The ability to read Japanese reactions and non-verbal cues
  • Practical phrases that create trust with minimal Japanese
  • Fewer misunderstandings in meetings and emails
  • Smoother communication during business trips
  • A more confident, calm relationship with Japanese counterparts
Learner’s Voice

“I realised I didn’t need perfect Japanese. Mineko gave me the key to building trust with Japanese partners.” — Samuel, CEO (Hydrogen Engineering)

He later shared that even in Taiwan, his ability to speak a little Japanese helped him build a warm relationship with staff at the Japanese Embassy.
