皆様、いつも大変お世話になっております。グローバル化の中で異文化への理解力は大切で、私も現在トルコのイスタンブールでその能力を鍛えているところです。当アカデミー主催の「日本語で学ぶ会」「英語で学ぶ会」は異文化理解にフォーカスし、生徒たちが各国からの参加者と互いに学び合い、教え合う会です。

Hello everyone. I believe the importance of cross-cultural understanding skills and I have been training my ability in Istanbul, Turkey. Arai Academy monthly hosts the ‘Learning Session in Japanese’ and the ‘Learning Session in English’ as the activities that our students from different countries and the Japanese members teach and learn from each other.

今年の参加者から集まった参加費全額（3,045TL）をトルコで信頼のあるチャリティー組織ahbapに寄付させていただきました。今まで自然災害が多い日本に寄付して参りましたが、今回はトルコへの支援もさせていただきました。

The sum of the attendance fees was 3.045TL in 2023 and it was donated to ahbap, one of the most trusted charity organisations in Turkey. We normally donate them to non-stoppable natural disasters in Japan, but we wanted to help the current situation in Turkey.

現地のトルコ人の皆さんがそれぞれにできることに全力で取り組んでいる姿をみて、大変感動しております。何が起きても前向きに生きることの大切さを感じました。

Here in Istanbul, I actually see the each of Turkish people is trying their best for the situations and I am deeply impressed. I’ve learnt from them that we should live strong with positive mind whatever happens in our life.

「学ぶ会」では参加者同士の学びのみならず、被災者をサポートするためにも活動できることに大変嬉しく思い、心から感謝しております。これからもできるだけお役に立てるよう励んでまいりますので、今後とも応援よろしくお願いいたします。

I am absolutely happy and fully appreciate that our ‘Learning Sessions’ can be helpful for supporting those victims in addition to the platform of our mutual teaching and learning. We would like to continue providing this kind of services. Thank you very much for your warm support as always.
